Sanitizing & deodorizingWhole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents
That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Meet the New York Team Behind Kestrel Air Duct New York
We’re a small crew by design. Every technician who walks through your door in New York has been background-checked, uniformed, and trained on the same equipment and the same written standard that’s governed Kestrel since 2004. No subcontractors, no day laborers, no one who hasn’t spent real hours inside real ductwork learning what actually comes out of it. What unites the team isn’t a slogan. It’s the Kingswell Way: say the price before work begins, show up in the window we gave, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails. Every person on this page works to that code on every single job, no exceptions.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Dale Whitmore, Owner
Dale founded this location under the Kingswell Guarantee and still personally reviews the written price on jobs before they’re scheduled. He’s spent 20 years in duct and vent work since 2004, and he’ll tell you the same thing on the phone that he tells his technicians in the morning: if the price isn’t in the customer’s hands before a tool comes off the truck, the job hasn’t started yet. Dale’s favorite part of the work is walking a homeowner through the before-and-after photos and pointing out what a Rotobrush actually pulled off the duct wall. When he’s not on a job site, he’s usually rebuilding a carburetor in his garage that probably didn’t need rebuilding.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been running negative-pressure extraction jobs for nine years, which means he’s the one who knows exactly how much suction a Nikro unit needs to pull from the farthest register in a three-story row house without losing airflow in the middle floors. He’s certified on the full Rotobrush rotary brush system and handles the Abatement Technologies HEPA filtration setup on every cleaning so loosened particles never enter the living space. Marcus is also the guy who can tell you, by sound alone, whether a dryer vent has a hidden lint bypass problem before he even opens the wall. He brings his own lunch every day, usually something his wife packed with a note telling him to stop talking about static pressure at dinner.
Elena R., Senior Technician
Elena came up through dryer vent cleaning and now splits her time between full-system duct work and vent diagnostics. She’s the one who spends the extra twenty minutes showing a customer what a clogged lint trap bypass actually looks like on camera before she clears it, because she’d rather you see the problem than take her word for it. Her specialty is older apartment buildings with shared risers and decades of layered lint, where a standard cleaning isn’t enough and you have to work section by section. She keeps a small notebook in her jacket with measurements from every job she’s ever done. She says it’s so she can compare, but the crew suspects it’s so she can win arguments about airflow numbers.
Jonah P., Service Coordinator
Jonah is the voice on the phone when you call, and that’s a real person answering, any time of day or night. He’s been with the team for five years and knows the New York service area well enough to give you a straight answer on scheduling windows and what to expect when the crew arrives. He also walks every customer through the written pricing process before a job is booked, so there’s never a surprise waiting at the door. Jonah is background-checked like the rest of the team, even though he’s the one behind the desk. Outside of work, he’s coaching youth soccer and losing his voice every Saturday morning.
One Standard, Every Job
The Kingswell Way isn’t a poster in the office. It’s a five-part code that governs every visit: give the written price up front, arrive in the window we promised, leave the site cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and return at no charge if the work falls short within the guarantee period. That’s the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it applies to every home we clean in New York, whether it’s a full air duct system with a Nikro negative-pressure unit or a dryer vent that’s never been touched since the day the dryer was installed. Our technicians use Rotobrush rotary brushes to dislodge debris at the duct wall, Nikro units to extract it, and Abatement Technologies HEPA filtration to keep it out of your air while we work. If a customer raises a concern about their filtration or wants to maintain cleaner air between service visits, we can point them to Honeywell, Aprilaire, or Guardsman products, but we never push something they don’t need. That’s the standard. It’s been the standard since 2004, and it doesn’t change depending on the neighborhood, the job size, or who’s on the phone.
